David obtained his medical degree (MBBS) at the University of Melbourne in 2013. He gained valuable experience through rotations at The Northern Hospital, The Austin Hospital and Bendigo Hospital prior to completing his General Practice Specialty training in 2020. David has also completed the Diploma in Child Health and has pursued further training with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
David is a strong believer of providing holistic, preventative care and educating his patients so that they are able to achieve their best health outcomes. He enjoys teaching and mentoring the next generation of health professionals. David was a lecturer at RMIT University (School of Health and Biomedical Sciences), medical tutor at St. Vincent’s Clinical school, supervisor of Epworth Clinical School medical students during their aged-care rotation, and is currently a supervisor for General Practice Registrars. He is part of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners New-Fellows committee and a current examiner for the RACGP fellowship examinations.
David is also passionate about aged-care and regularly visits the nearby residential-aged care facilities. He sits on the medication advisory committees, provides education sessions to the nurses working in the aged-care facilities and is a member of the EMPHN Palliative Care Community of Practice group.
In his spare time, David enjoys running, badminton, piano, travel and hiking.
